INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING AN ABSTRACT
- Abstracts shall clearly
and adequately describe the objectives and results of the research.
Scientific contributions could concern not only a specific technical
study, but, e.g., a state-of-art, a philosophical or legal
contribution, interesting data emerging by the sport activity with
teams or athletes.

Abstracts shall be submitted in English or Italian.
- Each abstract shall be
accompanied by a completed Registration Form made out in the name of
the Author who will be presenting the scientific contribution.
- Each abstract shall
include the title (in capital letters), the names and affiliations of
all Authors (with the name of the Author who will present the paper
underlined).
- Abstract format and size are
at the discretion of the Authors. Font “Comic Sans MS –
12” is recommended. Abstract should be in .doc file.
- Careful typing and proof-reading are essential.
- Abstracts, together with
completed Registration, shall be sent by e-mail, no later than
September 15, to the Organizing Secretariat: Dott. Francesca
Giannetti (abstract_genedop@alice.it)
- Abstracts scheduled for
Poster Sessions, Poster oral presentation, together with Invited
Speaker sessions, and Short Scientific Contributions, will be published
in the Abstract Book: we are also working to arrange the publication of
all Scientific Contributions (Round Table included) in a Special Issue
of a Sport Medicine Journal.
- All posters will be displayed
in the Florence Convention Center, on 26 and 27 October 2008. Posters
shall not exceed 90 cm width x 120 cm height.

The Secretariat is not responsible for Posters not collected at the end of the Symposium.
TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Speaker Ready/Hospitality Room
Speakers are kindly asked to review and hand over their presentations
at the Speaker Ready/Hospitality Room no later than 1 hour before their
scheduled presentation.
The Computers in the Speaker Ready/Hospitality Room will be configured
with hardware and software exactly like the computer in the meetings
rooms.
It is imperative that you review your presentation especially if it
contains video files, or if it was created on a Macintosh
computer.
Overhead projectors and 35 mm slide projectors will not be available.
